This National traffic incident responder training program establishes the foundation and promotes consistent training for all responders to incident involving operations on or near a highway. The PA traffic incident management objectives primarily target operations and special risks to personnel performing fire, rescue, and emergency medical services functions. This program examines the risks and provides nationally recognized actions to minimize/reduce those risks.
