This session will describe Emergency Support Function 6 functions including mass care, emergency assistance, temporary housing, and disaster human services. We will discuss the role of the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services in these functions and identify key partnering organizations. Participants will learn about the role of mass care task forces in ESF-6 and will receive an introduction to providing services for individuals with disabilities and others with access and functional needs in disaster settings. The target audience for this training is County and local Emergency Managers, voluntary partners, community partners, and private sector partners.
